Just a quick heads up on the fact that we will be releasing a big update on Wednesday, July 12th.
We’ve been working to improve Timeneye for quite a while. We’ve opened the Beta to testing a few months ago, and now, thanks to our users’ feedback, we’re happy to announce that some of these changes we’ve been testing on the Beta are coming to production.
The update will include:
Most importantly, we’re reviewing the structure of permissions inside Timeneye by introducing new roles that we thought were missing until now, to assure a more effective team management.
Until today, in Timeneye there were only be two types of permissions: Admins and Users. With this update, we’re adding a new level of permission called a higher level of permission Account owner, being able to manage payments and delete the account. All current Admins will become Account owners: you’ll always be able to edit your role from the Team Management section of the account. We’ll be introducing Group managers, too.
Don’t worry: we’ll publish a detailed blog post to explain all that’s new with Timeneye.
We expect no interruption of the service because of the update. Despite that, the system might be slower than usual and might experience some issues. We’ll make sure to keep you posted on the procedure. Thanks in advance four your patience.
Last but not least, keep an eye our blog and watch out for the notification inside the app. If you need any assistance, feel free to contact us at [email protected] or to drop us a line on Twitter.
See you soon!
