NEW! The Timeneye App For Google Workspace Is Here - Timeneye

We have just added a new integration to our list: the Timeneye app for Google Workspace is here

Now, you can track time for any of the projects you are working on and create your weekly timesheet directly inside Google workspaces.

How To Use The Timeneye App with Google Workspace

First, you need to head to the Google Workspace Marketplace.

And there, look for “Timeneye”. You can find it at this link.

All you have to do is to install the Timeneye app. That’s it, it’s that easy!

Before you can begin to use the app, you’ll be asked to log with your Timeneye credentials and grant the necessary permissions for the app to actually show up in your Google Workspace.

What you can do with the integration

Thanks to this app, you’ll have an easy way to track time directly in Google Workspace products such as Gmail. From the menu in the app, select projects and phases to save your entries.

At the moment it’s only possible to save entries, and not start timers. But, we hope to add the possibility to track timers (and also create projects) very soon. So stay tuned!

NOTE on the time format:

Due to some technical limitations from Google, the time format input in the app is a bit different compared to the one you find in the Timeneye web app.

Basically, when entering hours and minutes, you have to ignore the .0, and just enter the number of hours and minutes.

So for example, if you want to register “One hour and 30 minutes”, you have to enter: 1.0 in the Hours field, and 30.0 in the Minutes field.
